Augmentix Foundation grew out of my career in architectural lighting design and manufacturing, where I developed a view of where agentic intelligent automation could augment the people working in an industry, rather than replace them.
I spent the last five years as UK General Manager for Viabizzuno, an Italian lighting manufacturer specialising in bespoke product solution design, leading sales, design and customer service.
Leading the business taught me how organisations really function, seeing where the bottlenecks lie and why capable teams end up frustrated, with much of a day disappearing into chasing and writing up repetitive tasks. I saw the same thing across the design and construction industry, in architects, interior designers, contractors and electricians alike, working with people who are uniquely brilliant at what they do, but find themselves spending a shrinking share of their time actually doing it.
That is what led me to found Augmentix Foundation. The intention was never to replace people, it was to look honestly at the workflows that quietly take over a day, and to hand that time back, so it can go on the judgement, the craft and the relationships that only a person brings. In my experience, when you give someone their time back, you tend to give them back the reason they chose the work in the first place.
I studied at MIT in the practical and ethical application of agentic artificial intelligence and automation, with the ambition to help transform businesses through implementing AI infrastructures into their systems architecture framework.
I am invested in the people behind every business challenge, and believe in equipping teams with the knowledge, confidence and tools to collaborate with AI in ways that are meaningful.
Experience gained on the ground, across disciplines, before a single automation was built.
A programme in the practical and ethical application of agentic artificial intelligence and automation, and in how organisations absorb that change. It is the ground every Augmentix engagement is built on.
